Dojokdo Island

This past weekend was the Chusek holiday in South Korea. Jamie and I took advantage of this extra time off and we set off for an adventure on an island whose name we can't even pronounce. In any case, we knew it was going to be lovely because dozens and dozens of other foreigners were on route to this very island to, having scoped it out beforehand. The island was the perfect setting for relaxing--very quiet and lot's of countryside and beach. We went fishing, swimming, cliff jumping (some of us), shell collecting, hiking, biking, eating and relaxing. I got a chance to catch up on some reading and journalling. We also got to know our 4 other travelling buddies (most of them TWU alums). Lot's of laughs and close calls (the threat of missing the last ferry and being stuck on the island for an extra day).Overall, a great trip.
